Library Professionals Association (LPA) is committed to play an important role in the promotion of librarianship, networking and supporting Libraries and Library professionals as a profession vital to an informed and knowledgeable society, harnessing research skills of the library professionals and advocacy to promote the interests of the LIS community.
The main objective of LPA is development of strong linkages among Libraries in the Country through discussion, sharing and exchange of ideas and thus providing a common forum to the professionals interested or engaged in librarianship and information services by holding national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, training programmes, library development programmes and publishing Newsletters, Journals, Investigative reports and Books etc.
The Library Professionals Association is a vibrant, informed, cohesive, and empowered global organization for information professionals and their strategic partners.
The Library Professionals Association promotes and strengthens its members through Seminar, Training, learning, advocacy, and networking initiatives and transforms lives of Library and Information Science Professionals by cultivating personal and intellectual growth by building strong LIS communities.
